Leah is in Standard (Grade) 7 and has seven brothers and two sisters. She is from the village of Loskiriachi and really enjoys being at Haven Home because she can go to school. In her village, the school only goes to Standard 3, so Haven Home will allow her to get through Standard 8. She speaks English well because it is the only language taught in the Kenyan schools from Standard 7 on. She is shy and sweet and very joyful. Like all the others, she enjoys singing.
